Coal Mining Camps are Fun to Visit

Coal mining camps were prevalent in the Appalachian area. Always situated near a mine; they are relics of the past, mini-towns where groups
of coal miners and their families would live. Most have long since vanished. There a few around, though . some even with
accommodations and tours of the local mine, thus allowing you to experience a little bit of the coal mining way of life. A few to visit:
